We just had a great walk-thru with our landlord. Not only will we be getting our full security deposit back -- that's $1,500 people! -- but he is going to buy all of our furniture for $600. That's about as much if not a little more than what we paid for all of it in the first place! Hoo-rah! And the best thing is...we don't have to move a thing. Good news. You didn't see the narrow-assed stairwell we had to bring it all up in. So, Michael and I are very happy. Now we have a few small items that we will donate to the local charity, and then it will be time to pack up the van and head on out.
We are planning to meet Anne in New York on April 15th. We will be there for 3 full days. The highlight of our trip? Wicked on broadway. We really wanted to see a big Broadway production. And I have been forcing Michael to listen to the Wicked soundtrack for the last couple of years! So it should be most enjoyable. Then it's on to Philadelphia to stay with Anne for a week, where we will see the founding city as well as make day-trips into Washington DC.
