Mood Fabrics...MAKE IT WORK!

Anne & Michael at Mood

I spent weeks planning this trip to New York...for reals. And Mood Fabrics was at the top of my list! Michael and I are huge fans of Project Runway and, as I'm sure you must know, Mood Fabrics is where the contestants have 30 minutes to fly around the store, narrowly missing colliding with each other, and somehow find that perfect fabric. Or not so perfect...as the case may be. The store is a little difficult to find, so if you are visiting and want to see it -- the entrance is inside a building and up to the 3rd floor. If we hadn't gotten lost we would have arrived 15 minutes earlier and would have maybe seen Mila, Seth Aaron, and Emilio who were there doing a promotion. Seth Aaron rules!

Bryant Park, where they put the "Tent" for fashion week and Project Runway

Bryant Park has the teeny, tiniest carousel

On the way downtown we inadvertently walked past the New York Stock Exchange.
Kind of cool to see it in person. So much POWER!

  1. Fabulous pictures Ernest! I wish I was there too but at least we can share in the excitement through your images. What a great experience for all of you!
